| Information: | The British Red Cross notes that a Miss King-Harman, from Newcastle House, regularly collected moss for the V.A.D. Sphagnum Moss Association. Sphagnum moss was a very important element in field dressings during WW1. It is not clear which member of the King-Harman household this was, but it is likely to have been either Beatrice or Lillian King-Harman. |
