Information:	Thomas was born c.1878 in Granard. He enlisted with the Royal Irish Fusiliers in May 1915 at Drogheda. He had previously served with the Leinster Regiment for 7 years. He left the army in June 1915.His next-of-kin was his brother, William, who also served with the Royal Irish Fusiliers.
