Information:

Alfred was born in Earl Street, Longford on 17 June 1882*, to David Maybury a printer compositor and his wife Sarah, who were both from Co. Longford, although the family appears to have moved to Dublin c.1885. Prior to the war Alfred was working as a printer compositor in Dublin. In 1903 he married Frances Agnes Noblett from Co. Cork; by 1911 they had two living children: Eileen Frances and Ethel Lilian.

Pte Maybury enlisted in Dublin with the Royal Dublin Fusiliers and was killed in action on the Western Front.
