William was born c.1891 in Co. Longford and he enlisted in Longford town, however he passed away prior to undertaking his service. William's death was attributed to syncope, a sudden loss of consciousness or fainting. 

William's brother, Denis, also enlisted for service in WW1. 

Parents Names: Son of Denis King and Anne (née Donegan), Lisnagrish, Edgeworthstown.
