Information:

James was born 27 March 1889 in Cranalagh More (Cranlymore), Edgeworthstown. He enlisted in Mullingar Co. Westmeath and entered the war in December 1915. He died during the 3rd Battle of Ypres, likely as a result of an assault on the Frezenberg Redoubt north of Ypres. 

James's father, Patrick, was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) and a vote of sympathy for him on the death of James was published in the Longford Leader, on the 8 September 1917

Parents Names: Son of Patrick and Elizabeth Glennon, of Cranlymore, Edgeworthstown.
